1) What types of vehicles can I buy through CarChain.ca
Vehicles must be less than 6 years old and have less than 100,000km.

Quote Process
1) What information do I need to give CarChain.ca in order to obtain a quote?
The information is very basic (make/model/yr/km/color/major options/etc.) and is on the "Request a Quote" form, found in the quick links on the homepage, or by clicking on the link below.

Note that if you are interested in obtaining financing or leasing, you will also need to fill out a credit form which can be found on the same "Request a Quote" form above.
2) How long does it take to get a quote done?
Quotes on vehicles listed on the "Buy it Now" listing can often be done while you are on the phone. Custom quotes are dependent on vehicle availability and can take anywhere from minutes to days.
3) What about a quote to get a value on my trade-in?
If you require a firm quote on your trade-in, we require basic information on your vehicle, which is found on the quote form. If based on this information we believe your vehicle has a trade-in value of over $500, then before we commit to a firm price, we need you to take your trade-in to an independent auto service centre which we will designate for a trade-in inspection. They will charge you a fee for this service, but in return you will receive an inspection report (as will CarChain.ca) . And if your vehicle meets provincial safety requirements, you will also receive the provincial safety inspection certificate. This permit may assist you in selling your vehicle should you decide not to proceed with CarChain.ca.
4) What about a quote on financing?
If your purchase is dependent on obtaining financing or you would like a quote on financing, we require basic credit information. See here for our credit app. We will then work with our finance partners in an effort to provide you with a competitive financing quote.
5) What about a quote on getting an extended warranty?
If you would like added assurance /peace of mind, we are able to offer extended warranties on most all vehicles. These warranties are backed by one of Canada's leading providers.
- A variety of warranties are available, from Powertrain to Comprehensive coverage, with terms ranging up to 36 months.
- Note that we offer value pricing on these extended warranties, which is consistent with the pricing on vehicles.
- The extended warranties are valid at thousands of service locations in Canada and the United States.
Ordering
1. How long do I need to wait until my vehicle is ready for pickup?
It will generally take 1-3 days for your vehicle to ship from the wholesaler to the independent service centre. Reconditioning and detailing will generally take an additional 1-3 days. So in total your vehicle should be available for pickup 2-6 days after order.
2. Under what conditions can I get my deposit refunded?
If CarChain.ca is unable to source the vehicle you ordered, your deposit will be refunded immediately (i.e. same day it becomes apparent your vehicle is no longer available).
